EU-funded event showcases new life for Syrians
The EBRD’s documentary ‘Refuge in Jordan – a new life for Syrians’ has been shown at Jordan’s Karama Human Rights Film Festival.
One of the Syrian refugees who features in the film attended the screening and also appeared on a panel afterwards to explain about her new life as a pastry chef.
The EBRD’s refugee response in Jordan has been supported by: the European Union, the Republic of Korea, Taipei China, the United Kingdom, EBRD’s Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Multi Donor Account (Australia,Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taipei China and the United Kingdom).
New short documentary follows Syrian refugees helped by the Bank and internationally funded projects in Jordan.
