1.3 million Syrian refugees now in neighbouring Jordan
Forced to flee from fighting in Syria, more than one million refugees have now made their homes across the border in Jordan. 15 per cent of the live in camps, while the rest have started to build their lives across the country.
In this short documentary we follow the lives of those who have been helped by EBRD and internationally funded projects.
Khadija and her three children, Salam, Omar and Fatima, who came to Jordan in 2014, are four of the people featured. With the help of the EBRD, she is now enrolled in a cookery course in Amman and starting to rebuild the life for her and her family.
