Tackling waste in Jordan
3,350 garbage truck drivers work around the clock to gather 4,000 tonnes of waste every day.
Mohamed is one of the people who helps to keep Jordan’s capital clean every day. Together with donors, we are working with Greater Amman Municipality to upgrade their landfill operations.
The project is supported by the UK, the EU, TaiwanICDF and the donors to the SEMED MDA (Australia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taipei China and the United Kingdom).
