Alex Chirmiciu is a Senior Infrastructure Economist at the Economics, Policy and Governance department at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He is responsible for project and policy assessments for infrastructure – transport, municipal and environmental sectors. He has more than ten years of experience in policy analysis and project design and implementation across the entire range of infrastructure sectors.
His research interests include infrastructure, energy and climate change as well as development and transition economics. Alex is an alumnus of King’s College and holds a PhD in Economics from Cambridge University.
