'Resilient' is one of the EBRD's six transition qualities
As part of the Vice Presidency for Policy and Partnerships (VP3) at the EBRD, the Policy Strategy and Delivery Team (PSD) has responsibility for delivering the strategy, policy, and operational support functions across all transition qualities except Green/Climate. PSD does this by enhancing the quality, delivery, and impact of the Bank’s interventions through leading and supporting policy engagements in the countries of operation – including policy advisory, reform advocacy, and capacity building, by providing political and political economy analysis in support of operations and high-level dialogue, and supporting the origination and structuring of transactions with policy/sectoral reform components.
The PSD Team leads the Bank’s policies on Gender and Economic Inclusion (GE&I), leads work on Competitiveness, Governance and Political Affairs (CGPA), promotes Capital and Financial Market Development (CFMD) and serves as the Bank’s knowledge hub on Country Economics, Strategy & Policy (CESP).
The PSD Team also includes the Bank’s Digital Hub supporting the implementation of the Digital Approach aiming to develop a coordinated and coherent offer to countries and clients by advising on digital projects for the EBRD and beyond.
Alongside the EBRD Banking teams and our business partners, the Digital Hub will coordinate the EBRD’s digital work, tracking progress and providing support and guidance to the relevant groups, including managing associated donor funds. Ultimately, the Hub will become a Centre of Excellence for the whole Bank. The Hub will also take the lead on external engagement and outreach, making cooperation and partnership with other IFIs one of its key priorities.
In collaboration with the Office of the Chief Economist (OCE), PSD also contributes to the operational, policy, and strategy work of the Bank, as well as key reports and economic forecasts.
