Purpose of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments
The EBRD is considering providing up to around EUR 119 million equivalent by participating in a Polish Zloty long-term loan totalling approx. EUR 260 million equivalent to Polenergia for the development of a 206MWe wind portfolio in Poland. One of these projects, the Zielona/DEBSK wind farm of 106 MW, located in the Masovian Voivodeship in Central Poland, has been categorized as A due to its size and cumulative impacts.
The Project is part of diversification for Poland energy generation source and support of renewable projects
