New Zealand does not receive EBRD funding, but we encourage companies from New Zealand to apply for procurement and consultancy opportunities associated with our projects.
New Zealand banks also participate in the Trade Facilitation Programme as confirming banks. Since inception, the TFP has supported 11 export and import transactions for New Zealand companies for a total €13.23 million, for transactions which were initiated by banks in the EBRD countries of operation and confirmed by banks in both New Zealand and abroad. One New Zealand banks and branches of banks have joined the programme as Confirming Banks (all figures as of December 2022).
