These stories speak of hope, imagination and entrepreneurial spirit but also demonstrate that much still needs to be done to build strong modern market economies in former communist countries. The 2008 edition of People and Projects also included a special focus on Ukraine where the EBRD held its 2008 Annual Meeting.
