EBRD President expresses condolences for victims of Moscow attack

EBRD President Thomas Mirow has expressed his shock and condolences for the loss of life in the attack at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on 24 January.

The suspected suicide bombing left 35 people dead and more than 100 injured.

In a letter to Elvira Nabiullina, Russian Minister for Economic Development and EBRD Governor, President Mirow added that his thoughts were with the families of those who had been involved in the tragedy.

"We would like to assure you and the Russian people of our deepest sympathy and strongest solidarity", he said.

"The EBRD joins you in mourning the tragedy and will do everything in our power to strengthen and deepen our  engagement in your country."
