EBRD structure and management

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will move its London headquarters from Exchange Square in the City of London to the Canary Wharf business district in 2022.

The new building was developed by Canary Wharf Group. 

Shareholders and the Board of Governors

The EBRD is owned by 72 countries, the European Union and the European Investment Bank. Each shareholder is represented individually on the Board of Governors of the EBRD which has overall authority over the Bank and is responsible for approving its overall strategic direction.
