This Invitation for Prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published on the EBRD website, Project Procurement Notices (http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/procurement.html) on February 12, 2016.
State Enterprise "National Power Company "Ukrenergo", hereinafter referred to as "the Client", intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, hereinafter referred to as "the Bank", towards the cost of design, supply, construction and commissioning of new SS 330 kV Zakhidna. The scope of work includes design and following supply and installation of two autotransformers 330/100/35 kV, 330 and 110 kV GIS, construction of about 5 km 330 kV diversions of 330 kV OHL and all the auxiliaries and related infrastructure for new substation in Kiev region. The works shall be completed within 2 years.
Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country.
Prequalification documents may be obtained from the office at the address below upon:
- Submission of written request with clear indication "Request for Prequalification Documents for Construction of SS 330 kV Zakhidna";
- Transfer of non-refundable fee of 100 (one hundred) Euro or equivalent in convertible currency (VAT-inclusive and exclusive of all bank fees, corresponded bank fees, that shall be paid by the Applicant during payment; the Applicant individually calculates all bank fees that shall be charged during payment; in case of receipt by the Client of amount less than 100 Euro, such amount will be transferred back to the Applicant).

The purpose of payment is «Payment for Prequalification Documents under the Package 5 «Сonstruction of 330 kV SS Zakhidna of the «750 kV Zaporizhzhia - Kakhovska Line» Project.
Upon receipt of appropriate evidence of payment of the non-refundable fee, the documents will promptly be dispatched by courier; however, no liability can be accepted for their loss or late delivery.
In case of personal receipt of Prequalification Documents at Client’s office authorized representatives of interested Applicants shall have written confirmation of authorization (on letterhead and signed by manager) and copy of bank payment receipt.
The prequalification proposals must be duly completed and delivered to the address below, on or before June 30, 2016, 11.00 a.m. Kyiv local time. Documents which are received late will be rejected and returned unopened.
