Sustainability Report 2015

The Sustainability Report is available both as a dedicated microsite (opens in new window) and a print summary report (PDF) available in English and Russian. 

It focuses on three key aspects of our sustainability: Impact, Assurance and Engagement.

While the investment environment in the EBRD region continues to be extremely challenging, 2015 was a year of great progress for the EBRD in terms of our sustainability and support for green finance. The Bank also continues to make strides in encouraging sustainable business practices, diversity and inclusion: the Bank’s first Gender Strategy was approved and our Women in Business programme continued to expand across our region.

Whether investing in small business in Georgia or improving road safety in FYR Macedonia, ensuring gender equality on public transport in Kazakhstan or encouraging youth employment in Jordan, the EBRD is strengthening transition, promoting sustainability and making a real difference to peoples’ lives.
