Mobilising private sector finance in the EBRD region and how Indian companies can benefit

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invites you to the inaugural EBRD-FICCI Business Forum to mark the occasion of India joining the EBRD as a shareholder, the theme of which will be “Mobilising private sector finance in the EBRD region and how Indian companies can benefit”.

The forum will take place at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel in Mumbai on Friday 22 June 2018, in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and support from Export-Import Bank of India.

This half-day event will bring together government officials, EBRD experts, investors and prominent business people to highlight the EBRD’s efforts to mobilise private sector finance in the economies where it invests, and what the opportunities are for the Indian private sector.

EBRD President Sir Suma Chakrabarti will make a special address during the inaugural session.  This will be followed by plenary sessions dedicated to discussing investment opportunities and economic prospects for the region and focusing on the specific economic sectors: industry, agribusiness and sustainable energy.

The forum will provide ample opportunities for participants to network and learn more about the EBRD’s activities across the economies where it invests.
