The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in association with the Government of Belarus and the management of the Great Stone Industrial Park, Belarus are organising an investment conference on Wednesday, 16 January at EBRD Headquarters. The event will focus on business and investment opportunities presented by the country’s first ever Public-Private Partnership project (to fund the M-10 Highway) and the Great Stone Industrial Park to the international business community.
The event will be opened by EBRD President, Sir Suma Chakrabarti and will feature senior government representatives from Belarus including H.E. Mr. Dmitry Krutoy, Minister of Economy and EBRD Governor for Belarus; H.E. Mr. Maksim Yermalovich, Minister of Finance; H.E. Mr. Aliaksey Auramenka, First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications; and Mr. Alexander Yaroshenko, Head of the Administration, Great Stone Industrial Park as well as other members of the Belarusian delegation and resident companies of the Great Stone Industrial Park.
This event will be a a unique occasion to discuss the business environment in Belarus and to hear about technical aspects of the M-10 Highway Public-Private Partnership project and investment opportunities in the Great Stone Industrial Park, including through potential cooperation with the EBRD. All the presentations will be followed by Q&A sessions. In addition, should participants express interest, short one-to-one meetings will be organised with the authorities, Administration and the Development Company of the Great Stone Park and EBRD staff.
Registration is from 11:00-11:30 am with formal presentations and panel discussions followed by a networking lunch and the event is due to finish at 4:30 pm, with one-to-one meetings continuing until 6:00 pm. Working languages of the event will be English/Russian with simultaneous translation.
