EBRD is hosting a workshop on Wednesday 20 January, 10:30 am GMT to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the energy sector in EBRD Countries of Operation (COOs) and lessons learned to build back better as we transition from crisis to recovery.

EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso will open the workshop. Dr Fatih Birol, CEO of the International Energy Agency (IEA) will participate with the keynote address.

EBRD has sent a survey to key energy stakeholders across our Countries of Operation, asking them to provide input on the impacts of Covid-19 and priorities for the energy sector going forward, with a focus on a green, inclusive and digital recovery. Pierre Heilbronn, Vice-President Policy and Partnerships, will present the results of the EBRD survey.

To discuss the results of the survey and provide input, there will be a panel moderated by Aida Sitdikova, Director, Head of Energy Eurasia, SIG, EBRD with key policymakers from our Countries of Operation

The event will be presented in English with simultaneous translation into French and Russian. Attendance is by invitation only.

A recording of the event will be made available on demand on ebrd.com and on our page at LinkedIn, following the event.
