Overview

The EBRD's Legal Transition Programme (LTP) seeks to improve the investment climate of economies where the Bank invests by promoting legal reforms desiged to foster an investor-friendly, transparent and predictable legal environment. The better a country's legal system functions, the safer it is to invest in its economy.

Law in Transition journal

The EBRD's Legal Transition Programme publishes this journal once a year to detail recent achievements in its efforts to support the legislation, institutions and organisational culture on which a vibrant market-oriented economy depends. By sharing its lessons learned, the Bank aims to stimulate discussion of legal reform in transition economies.
