Abstract

In 1993 the EBRD faced a critical examination of its activities and undertook a radical reorganisation of its internal structure. The Bank continued to pursue its activities against a background of complex political and economic developments in its countries of operations. The Bank’s commitments and disbursements increased by 90 per cent and 257 per cent respectively.
