Abstract

In 2006 the EBRD invested €4.9 billion to support the transition to market economies from central Europe to central Asia. Our investments were spread across businesses of all types and sizes, with an increasing focus on countries in the south and east. The 2006 Annual Report provides an overview of our activities over the past year, highlighting some of our most successful projects.
