Abstract

The EBRD’s donors are making a difference. Advances in transition owe much to the support provided by donors in developing skills and know-how, preparing projects for investment and promoting institutional reforms. In 2004, 19 donors provided technical cooperation funds worth €103 million. The majority of this support was directed towards the early transition countries, the Western Balkans and Russia.
