Abstract

The EBRD is committed to improving telecommunications services in its countries of operations and developing the region’s burgeoning informatics and media sector. This brochure shows how the Bank is helping extend access to basic telephone services, introducing advanced services (such as mobile telephony and the Internet) and assisting in the establishment of a fully liberalised market-led environment.
