What we do in Natural resources
The natural resources sector is responsible for all oil, gas and mining activities covering production, transportation and refining to distribution. In particular, the team has been expanding into new areas, including environment, health and safety, energy efficiency, climate change and increasingly into gas storage for energy security.

Our Energy operations strategy
This document sets out the operational role of the Bank in this sector and establishes the overall framework for the Bank’s activities. This Policy replaced and updated the Natural Resources Operations Policy and the Energy Operations Policy approved by the Board of Directors in 1999 and 2000, respectively, combining the two spheres of activity into one comprehensive policy.
