Sustainability Report

Sustainability is key to sound growth and underlies all the EBRD’s investments. The Sustainability Report 2011 highlights the Bank’s progress in achieving sustainability objectives across sectors, particularly climate change and energy, gender, stakeholder engagement and green finance, and shows how its mainstream environmental and social due diligence and monitoring is adding value to projects. The report also looks ahead to the opportunities and challenges that the EBRD will face in the southern and eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region. For the first time the Sustainability Report is delivered primarily on-line as a multi-media presentation, and is complemented by a short 12-page summary.
