The EBRD publishes a wide range of research papers and publications related to economics. EBRD research is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the process of transition to a market economy.
OCE economists are regular contributors to the EBRD blog. This is where they publish short analytical pieces on current economic issues, interesting statistics and summaries of their working papers. The blog is an open forum for thought and debate where views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of EBRD.
The 2010 Transition Report has been published on 17 November. The annual Transition Report is one of EBRD's flagship publications. Its purpose is to advance the Bank's and the public's understanding of the process of transition. It usually contains a series of thematic chapters on current economic issues as well as assessments of individual countries of operation. You can find previous Transition Reports in the Transition Report archives.
The Working Paper series is where new research by OCE staff is first presented to the public. It is designed to stimulate debate on the economic transformation of central and eastern Europe and the CIS. Views expressed are those of the authors and not necessarily of the EBRD.
Economics of Transition is an academic journal and publishes high-quality, refereed articles on the economics of transition and institutional development. It is produced in association with the EBRD.
Special reports and papers are published occasionally, often with funding provided by external donors.
