EBRD and the global financial crisis
The EBRD's countries of operations have been hit hard by the global financial crisis. The Bank has been pro-active in moving to quickly mitigate the effects of the crisis with an increased level of investment.
Born in 89 essay competition
We invited people born in 1989 to submit essays about their experiences of growing up in EBRD countries of operations in the years after the Iron Curtain fell. There was strong interest in the competition and some 600 essays from throughout the EBRD region were submitted.
