"Sustainable Finance – How to benefit from global mega trends"
The financial crisis and resulting world-wide recession encouraged a public discussion on whether financial practices would have to change to avoid future crises, and if so, what form these changes would take. Regulators and market participants will have to find well-balanced answers to ensure that financial markets will be able to perform their function in the future.
At the same time as sharpening resource scarcity, climate change, ongoing demographic changes, globalization and continuous technological innovation offer new investment opportunities. These opportunities will impact optimal asset allocation strategies for investors. And they will offer business potential for companies who identify underlying trends early.
The Campus for Finance − New Year's Conference 2012 will discuss the implications of necessary changes in the markets and of new investment opportunities on investors, financial intermediaries, capital-seekers and policy makers.
EBRD President Thomas Mirow will be speaking at this event.
