    EBRD at twenty: our region

    From sub-polar Siberia to sub-Saharan Central Asia, for the EBRD’s activities in municipal and environmental infrastructure (MEI) no place is too distant and no border is too far. 

    And almost as far-reaching as the geographical spread of our projects is their dimension, ranging from heating to waste water to urban transport. These are projects which have real impact on daily lives. 

    That is why they are so important and that is why we put so much effort in to them. Nothing illustrates this better than our map showing everything you need to know about this vital area of our work.
