This General Procurement Notice is an update of the notice first published on 22 January 2005 and subsequently updated on 22 January 2006 and on 27 March 2007.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) has received a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] of Euro 12 million equivalent, and has applied for additional loan amount of Euro 5 million equivalent. BHDCA intends to use the proceeds of the loan towards the cost of Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Traffic Management Project. The proposed project will require the procurement of the following goods and works:

• Supply and Installation of Meteorological Equipment;
• Supply and Installation of Net Equipment;
• Procurement of Power Installations and Equipment;
• Construction and Reconstruction Works of Buildings and Infrastructure for Air Traffic Management System

Tendering for goods and works is expected to start at the beginning of April 2008.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
