including Minister of Finance Mihai Tanasescu, local and foreign business

invested.

including private-sector development, support for infrastructure projects,
especially in areas such as energy, energy efficiency and electricity and gas
distribution, development of the banking and non-banking sector and policy
dialogue with the authorities to help improve the investment climate. The EBRD
is the largest investor in Romania, with nearly €2.4 billion committed to
projects across the country. Working with its many partners, the Bank has
mobilised more than €7.5 billion for projects in Romania.
