EBRD and FYR Macedonia

The EBRD is one of the largest investors in FYR Macedonia. The Bank’s focus is on job creation and the private sector, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through trade facilitation, small direct equity investments and direct financing to export oriented businesses. In addition, it emphasises electricity, transport and municipal environment projects in the country.
