The focus of EBRD activities in Hungary has traditionally been on corporations, financial institutions and infrastructure. In particular, the Bank provides equity and quasi-equity financing for local companies, improves access to dedicated finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), supports railway restructuring, and backs renewable energy projects.
